Sony A7II, A7III, A7IV, A7RIII, A7RIV, A7SIII Conversion to Full Spectrum or IR
This is the cost of a Full Spectrum conversion of your own Sony A7II, A7III, A7IV, A7C, A7RIII, A7SIII or A7RIV camera, the price includes, checking the camera before conversion, carrying out the conversion, re-calibrating the back focus, so all lenses will focus to infinity. [This is normally set so a Zeiss Loxia 21mm f/2.8 lens focuses just past infinity.] Unusually for a Full Spectrum Conversion the sensor cleaning function on the A7II Series remains active as the whole sensor is shaken. This Full Spectrum Conversion for the A7II/III/IV Cameras WAS not recommended for Long Exposure Astro work as there is some internal residual IR that just shows on exposures greater than 30s on iso 3200 and higher. This very low level residual IR is normally blocked by the UV/IR Cut filter in an unconverted camera. HOWEVER I HAVE NOW DEVELOPED A NEW TECHNIQUE WHICH COMPLETELY CURES THE PROBLEM FOR THE A7II and A7III, A7RIII and A7RIV SUCH THAT EVEN 6 MIN EXPOSURES SHOW NO SIGN OF IR POLLUTION
